My research is on the biogeochemical transformations of nutrients (Carbon, Nitrogen, Phosphorus) in agricultural catchments with a particular focus on ponds, wetlands, rivers and lake ecosystems. I am especially interested in the the controls of greenhouse gas fluxes from wetlands, rivers and lakes in the context of nutrient mitigation, ecosystem restoration and climate change.
