AGRIFOODSKILLS supports the strategic development of a community of practice within the Agrifood Pact for Skills (P4S), focused on reskilling and upskilling in plant and animal production, agrifood, and veterinary sectors. It promotes innovative content—such as deep tech, AI, future foods, and green and digital skills—building on previous Blueprint projects.
The project acts as a backbone for the Agrifood P4S by sharing outcomes with its members and ensuring long-term impact through the Observatory—a flexible, virtual structure organized into working groups. These groups will continue project activities in close connection with Pact members.
P4S members will engage via annual meetings and events. The 29-partner consortium, including AU Food, from 13 countries brings strong Erasmus+ experience, helping identify skill gaps, apply new competencies, and align country roadmaps with EU frameworks (ESCO, EQAVET).
Complementing the FIELDS and I-RESTART Blueprints, AGRIFOODSKILLS delivers tools like microcredentials across EQF levels 3–8 to meet future challenges.
Finally, Policy Forum 2050 will guide the Observatory's strategy, supported by the EU Commission and global experts, ensuring activities align with future skills and policy needs.
