Access

Access to FOODHAY equipment is the same for partners and non-partners, access will be provided in according to three different Access modes:

1. Exploratory              2. Excellence                3. Advanced

An access mode is designated to each individual equipment based on the level of training, sample preparation required, type of data generated and complexity of interpretation of data.

1. Exploratory

Access is gained with minimum training, advice is provided on sample preparation, experimental set up and interpretation of data, if needed (based on an hourly fee).

Evaluated as low risk of liability, operator and damage to the research infrastructure.

The Access will be subject to a standard collaboration agreement directly with the relevant FOODHAY Party(s), and will include costs, training requirements, access to data, safety regulations and liability.

2. Excellence

Access is granted either to a person under the guidance of trained staff/students, or provided directly by the Party granting Access.

The excellence Access is foreseen to be relevant for research initiatives, larger proof of concept studies, new method development and talent development.

The Access will be subject to a standard collaboration agreement directly with the relevant FOODHAY Party(s).

3. Advanced
