How to design controversy workshops for active, team-based learning
Active, team-based learning can be an effective pedagogical approach to support learning and teaching. This one-hour masterclass discusses the theoretical framework of team-based learning with reference to its origins in active learning and problem-based learning paradigms.
The masterclass will describe a current case study where team-based learning informed the design, facilitation and assessment of a novel controversy workshop for researchers.
The masterclass will conclude with a Q&A session to encourage trainers to use team-based approaches in their own teaching.
