Measuring principle based on Diffusing wave spectroscopy (DWS) and the data output of Rheolaser. (A) A laser is pointed at the sample and the backscattered waves are recorded as an interference image called a speckle image. (B) the dynamic of the speckle image is used to monitor viscoelastic properties in the sample. The mean square displacement (MSD) curve is computed and used to extract information about the elasticity index (EI), Solid-liquid balance (SLB) and the Macroscopy viscosity index (MVI) (Brunel et al., 2006; Zhang et al., 2020).
