The method is based on Dumas combustion. It is a quick alternative to Kjeldahl and has been approved for protein determination according to several international methods
The instrument can handle samples up to approx. 1 gram / 5 ml and is equipped with an autosampler. The analysis takes about 5 minutes per sample
