Result is a water activity measurement of your product within 5 minutes using the chilled mirror technique, which is very fast and precise.
If you have generated an isotherm of the product using the Aqualab VSA, this isotherm can be uploaded to the Aqualab3 and the measurement will provide you with both the water activity and moisture content within 5 minutes.
Water activity is a crucial information, both when developing a new product, but also if your existing product behave in a way that you do not desire. It is also a good measure, when it comes to shelf-life estimation and much more.
